Offered again as a horse of racing age at the 2022 Keeneland January mixed sale, she failed to change hands on a bid of US$32,000.
Pedigree notes
Sired by the winner Eye on Jacob (by A.P. Indy out of 1998 American champion older female Escena, by Strawberry Road), Juliana is out of the winner Flight to Cash, the only producing daughter of Vasquez (by multiple Grade 1 winner Coronado's Quest).
Vasquez, a winner of one race from four starts, is a half sister to listed stakes winners Dake (by Gulch) and Wood Sprite (by Woodman). The last-named mare is, in turn, the dam of multiple Grade 3 winner Ailalea (by Pulpit) and of Grade 1-placed listed stakes winner Spritely (by Touch Gold; dam of Grade 3-placed listed stakes winner Pauseforthecause, by Giant’s Causeway). Returning to Vasquez, she is also a half sister to Turtledove (by Strong Hope), dam of Grade 2-placed listed stakes winner Dutch Parrot (by Eskendereya), and to Pennywit (by Strong Hope), dam of restricted stakes winner J. E.’s Handmedown (by Storm and a Half).
Long Silence, the dam of Vasquez and her siblings, won twice from seven outings. A daughter of Alleged out of 1981 Schuylerville Stakes (USA-G3) winner Mystical Mood (by Roberto), she is a full sister to 1989 Citation Handicap winner Fair Judgment and a half sister to stakes winner Linda Coqueta (by Rubiano). She is also a half sister to Heat Lightning (by Summer Squall), dam of 2005 American champion 2-year-old male Stevie Wonderboy (by Stephen Got Even) and English Group 3 winner Theysken’s Theory (by Bernardini), and to Spend a Dream (by Spend a Buck), dam of restricted stakes winner Clever Tish (by Clever Trick) and second dam of 2015 American champion turf male Big Blue Kitten. In addition, Long Silence is a half sister to Meli Magic (by Sovereign Dancer), dam of restricted stakes winner Gigi’s Magic (by Allen’s Prospect).
