Although Amelia Bearhart managed a listed stakes placing on the racetrack as a juvenile, she was modestly talented at best. The Sovereign Award winner as the Canadian Broodmare of the Year in 1996, she produced three stakes winners including a two-time Canadian Horse of the Year and a Grade 1 winner, and her daughters have bred on well.
