While American Classic Pedigrees contains a tremendous amount of static information, there is also a need for a way to stay in touch with current events in the Thoroughbred world and to allow for more personal sharing with readers. Hence, I offer two blogs:

"Mares on Monday" posts thoughts on the female side of Thoroughbred pedigrees. In most cases, the spotlight is on the family of a recent graded or Group stakes performer, but the blog also features posts on outstanding performances by female race horses during the preceding week. As the title suggests, it typically posts on Mondays.

"Horse Tales" centers on books and writing about Thoroughbred horses. Possible topics may include (but are not limited to) sharing my own journey as a writer, reviews of horse-related nonfiction books, and discussions with other writers. "Horse Tales" appears on Thursdays.
