Said to have been one of the fastest mares in Argentine history, Doria was also a first-rate broodmare. Two of her daughters won the Gran Premio 25 de Mayo (now a Group 1 race), and one of them, Dorine, founded a family of high-class performers in both Argentina and the Northern Hemisphere.
