In the opinion of as good a judge as the Daily Racing Form's Charles Hatton, Easy Lass had stakes-level talent. Injury prevented her from demonstrating her full ability on the track, but she more than redeemed herself as a broodmare, becoming one of the few mares to be represented by two American champions in the same year. Unfortunately, neither of her champions had any long-term impact on Thoroughbred breeding, though her family has continued through two other daughters.
