Fun facts
- General Lavalle's name refers to Juan Lavalle, an important Argentine political and military figure in the first half of the 19th century. The partido (provincial subdivision), municipality, and city of General Lavalle in the province of Buenos Aires are all named in Juan Lavalle's honor.
