Good Star was one of the best sprint fillies of her generation in Argentina, and she passed on that speed as a producer. Through seven important producing daughters, she became the foundation of the most distinguished branch of the family of the 20th-century Argentine foundation mare Bambuca, one that has produced champions in Argentina, Canada, Scandinavia, Spain, and Uruguay.
