In Return won only three of her 12 starts, but according to Equineline and Bloodstock Research Information Systems, she set course records in all three, all at Monmouth Park. She experienced reproductive problems during her short broodmare career and produced only four foals that lived to be named, but in 2017, two of those foals earned Sovereign Awards as Canadian champions--Channel Maker in the 3-year-old turf male category and Johnny Bear in the turf male category. Both Channel Maker and Johnny Bear followed up their championship seasons with Grade 1 wins in 2018, and her sons’ exploits earned In Return a posthumous title as the Canadian Broodmare of the Year in 2018.
