An undefeated juvenile in his native Argentina, Intérprete showed such remarkable form that year that he was named Argentina's champion miler in addition to garnering honors as champion 2-year-old male. He trained on to win the first leg of the Argentine Triple Crown, the Gran Premio Polla de Potrillos (ARG-G1) and became a good stallion after his retirement. In North America, he is best known as the broodmare sire of 2006 American Horse of the Year Invasor.
