Family 16-h
As a Bold Ruler half brother to an Oaks Stakes winner, much was expected of Jungle Cove. He became a decent racehorse, becoming the equivalent of a Grade 3 winner as a 4-year-old, but was hardly a world-beater. Exported to South Africa, he gained a much greater reputation as a stallion, leading that country’s general sire list five times during the 1980s and adding four titles as champion broodmare sire.
