Fun facts
- Killaloe is named for a town in County Clare, Ireland, which lies near the former capital of the great Irish king Brian Boru. The place name is also reflected in one of Killaloe's foals, Beal Boru, who was named for a nearby fortress said to have been either the birthplace or the childhood home of Brian Boru.
