Polish Numbers had speed, but he was too unsound to emulate the racing feats of his Grade 1-winning half siblings Private Account and Dance Number. His regal pedigree earned him a chance at stud in Maryland, where he made the most of it. At the time of his fatal accident at age 15, he was one of the most popular stallions in the state, and his name continues to be prominent in regional pedigrees.
