The best of of four Group 1-winning fillies produced by breeding 1985/1986 Argentine Horse of the Year Potrillazo to the great Argentine matron Chaldee, Potrizaris was one of the few fillies to complete Argentina’s Derby/Oaks double in the Gran Premio Nacional against males and the Gran Premio Selección against her own sex. She showed nothing of her best Argentine form when sent to the United States and was exported to Japan in 2001. She had some success as a broodmare.
