Pedigree notes

Seductor is inbred 4x4 to five-time English champion sire Polymelus, 5x5x5 to nine-time English champion sire St. Simon and 5x5 to St. Simon's champion son Persimmon, himself a four-time English champion sire. His dam Suma was produced from Sweet Peggy (by 1915 English Triple Crown winner Pommern), a mare exported to Argentina after being purchased for just 90 guineas from the Newmarket December sale of 1926. The next dam in Seductor's tail-female line, the Long Tom mare Gilt Brook, never raced and produced only three minor winners.
