An older half brother to 1980 Two Thousand Guineas (ENG-G1) winner Known Fact (who was sired by Intentionally’s best son, In Reality), Tentam was brilliant enough in his own right to set a world record for 9 furlongs on turf; he was also hardier and a better stayer. He proved to be a very good sire but unfortunately died young.
