Traffic Court showed some promise as a juvenile, but it took until she was 6 to deliver on that promise, in large part because of an extremely cantankerous disposition. The winner of four stakes races in 1944, she proved to have all her sire's hardiness if not quite his level of class. As a broodmare, Traffic Court lived to produce only three foals but made the most of those opportunities, earning honors as 1954 Kentucky Broodmare of the Year.

As an individual
A brown mare standing 17 hands, Traffic Court inherited a goodly share of her grandsire Display's temperament and was so unruly and willful that she was sent to the breeding shed after her 2-year-old season. She was even more unmanageable on the farm and could not be covered; accordingly, she was sold cheaply and put back into training. It was not until she was 6 years old that she finally decided to put her full energies into racing; even then, she was inclined to try to savage any horse that got too close.
As a producer
Traffic Court produced three named foals, all of which started and won and all of which are of some importance.

Traffic Court was bred by C. V. “Sonny” Whitney. She was owned by Mrs. M. E. Miller and was trained by N. Burger. As a broodmare, she was owned by Clifford Mooers.
