Tularia was imported to Canada as a 2-year-old and proved a moderately talented race mare. She was better as a broodmare, producing a champion and a multiple Grade 1 winner as well as several black-type-producing daughters. Unfortunately, her female family did not breed on very well and has enjoyed ponly scattered successes in the generations since.
