Descended from an important American family, Blues for Sale was one of the better Argentine race mares of 2007, capturing three Group events. She was even better as a broodmare, producing two Argentine champions that further proved their quality by becoming Grade 1 winners in the United States.

She produced her first foal for Haras La Manija and her second for Bioart S.A. before producing five more foals for Haras La Manjija, she then became the property of Haras Pozo de Luna.

- Blue Stripe (2016, by Equal Stripes) was the Argentine champion older female of 2021. In the United States, she won the 2022 Clement L. Hirsch Stakes (USA-G1) and was second by a nose in the 2022 Longines Breeders’ Cup Distaff.
