Count Fleet (USA) x Nursemaid (USA), by Luke McLuke (USA)
Family 23-b
Both the sire and the maternal grandsire of Juliets Nurse won America’s longest Classic race, the Belmont Stakes, but Juliets Nurse clearly expressed the speedier elements of her pedigree such as Ultimus and Eternal. On the track, she proved to be a pure sprinter with Quarter Horse-like speed, and speed was the primary gift she passed to her foals. The dam of four stakes winners, she was the 1966 Kentucky Broodmare of the Year. Her daughters bred on fairly well but not at the level of the top matriarchies of the turf.
Race record

Assessments
Rated at 104 pounds on the Experimental Free Handicap for American juveniles of 1950, 10 pounds below champion filly Aunt Jinny.
As an individual
A filly whose racetrack forte was headlong speed, Juliets Nurse had a bad knee and the sickle hocks of her sire. She was lengthy with a good shoulder and prominent withers and was somewhat short-legged for her height. Her hip was strong and she had good muscling down into her gaskins. She also had more rein length than is commonly associated with sprinters.
As a producer
Juliets Nurse produced 13 named foals; all 13 started and 11 were winners. Her important foals are as follow:
