Family 4-n
Unique among Eclipse Award winners, Trillion failed to win a single race in North America. Nonetheless, her consistency in running second in four Grade 1 grass stakes from coast to coast while competing against the best North American turf males was enough to net her the championship in the newly created female turf division. Also a two-time champion in the older female division in France, Trillion was a successful broodmare who might have wielded still greater influence had she not died young.

As a producer
Trillion produced four foals; three started and two won. All four of her foals were important as racers or producers.
Connections
Foaled in Kentucky, Trillion was bred by Nelson Bunker Hunt. She was owned by Edward Stephenson and Nelson Bunker Hunt and was trained by Maurice Zilber. Trillion died from complications of foaling in 1987.
