Dancing for Me showed so much talent in his first four starts, which included a win in the classic Gran Premio Polla de Potrillos (Argentine Two Thousand Guineas, ARG-G1) that he was named the champion 3-year-old male in spite of breaking down in his next start, the Premio Eduardo Casey (ARG-G2) and disappearing from racing for 10 months. On his comeback, he managed only one start before going wrong again, and when he returned nearly six months later in 2008, he was unable to return to his best form. He was not a success as a sire.
