She produced her first foal for the partnership of Mrs. Eugene Weymouth and Elizabeth Nichols before being acquired by Daniel Wildenstein, who bred one more foal from her in Kentucky and then sent her to France in 1970. Moonmadness returned to the United States in 1976 but did not produce any more foals following her repatriation; the last report of her was as barren in 1988.
