Pedigree notes
Potrillon’s pedigree is outcrossed through five generations. He is a full brother to 1994 Gran Premio República Argentina-Internacional (ARG-G1) winner Azagal and Argentine Group 2 winner Potrillona, dam of Group 2-placed listed stakes winner Possible Glory (by Honour and Glory). He is also a half brother to Argentine listed stakes winner Azatin (by Cautín).
Potrillon and his siblings are out of unraced Azalita (by Argentine Group 1 winner Galisteo), the 1991 Argentine Broodmare of the Year. Azalita is a half sister to 1985/1986 Argentine Horse of the Year Potrillazo (by Ahmed) and to Argentine Group 2 winner Potrillaza (by Sundae). She is also a half sister to Azagaya (by Mount Athos), dam of multiple Puerto Rican stakes winner Perfection P. R. (by Double Dewan).
Azalita, in turn, is out of Argentine Broodmare of the Year Azalee, whose sire Tropical Sun won the 1971 Gran Premio Polla de Potrillos (Argentine Two Thousand Guineas). She is a half sister to Argentine Group 3 winner Amderma (by Nushka) and to Group 2-placed Enchant Sun (by Tropical Sun’s sire Solazo), dam of Argentine Group 2 winner Empire (by Logical).
