Sideral was a good racehorse, but he was still better as a stallion. A scion of the great English family of Aloe, he lived up to his royal heritage by leading the Argentine general sire list three times and the Argentine broodmare sire list six times. He also holds the unusual distinction of having led his country's general sire list and broodmare sire list in the same year.
