She made her mark as a broodmare as well, producing three graded or Group stakes winners including 2007 Kentucky Broodmare of the Year Better Than Honour.

Connections
Foaled in Kentucky, Blush With Pride was bred by Darrell and Lendy Brown at their Stonereath Farm. She raced as a two-year-old for Lendy Brown's father, Leonard K. Firestone, who purchased her for US$650,000 at the 1980 Keeneland July yearling sale and sold her back to the Browns prior to her 3-year-old campaign. She was trained by D. Wayne Lukas. She passed through several hands as a broodmare and was bought in foal to Deputy Minister for US$635,000 at the 1997 Keeneland November mixed sale from the consignment of Foxfield. Sold to the BBA (Ireland), she was sent to Coolmore's Orpendale dvision. She died in Ireland on August 16, 2005.
