The second foal of the great Canadian matron No Class, Classy 'n Smart became the first of her dam's six stakes winners and four champions. As good as she was as a racer, she scaled even greater heights as a broodmare. The Sovereign Award winner as Canadian Broodmare of the Year for 1991, her produce record includes a Horse of the Year and two other Grade 1 winners; a national Broodmare of the Year; and a two-time national sire champion, giving her a record few broodmares can equal for producing racing excellence and for breeding on.
