Honor Code first served notice of his exceptional ability by flying home 4½ lengths ahead of his field in a Saratoga maiden special weight after trailing by 22 lengths early in the seven-furlong race. Throughout his career, he continued to thrill his fans with equally dramatic come-from-behind charges. His finest moment was probably in the 2015 Whitney Stakes (USA-G1), a race featuring one of the best fields of the year. As usual, Honor Code trailed early but got up in the final strides to beat Liam's Map by a neck. Liam's Map later underscored the quality of Honor Code's win with brilliant victories in the Woodward Stakes (USA-G1) and Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile (USA-G1) in his next two starts. Honor Code retired to stud following his third-place finish behind 2015 American Triple Crown winner American Pharoah in the Breeders' Cup Classic (USA-G1), a performance that helped him earn an Eclipse Award as American champion older male.
