Locust Time was the result of breeding a speedy stallion to a staying mare. On the track, she took more after her sire’s proclivities, and her best foals were essentially milers. Her family has continued to show miler speed, but with the happy ability to blend with more stamina-oriented mates, resulting in good descendants over a wide range of distances.
