Fun facts
- Menifee, California, is a city in southwestern California, located in the Menifee Valley. Both the city and the valley take their name from Luther Menifee Wilson, who discovered a gold-bearing quartz lode in the area in 1883.
- Menifee earned the soubriquet “The Sunday Silence of Korea” for his exploits at stud in his adoptive country.
- Following his transfer to South Korea, Menifee learned to respond to Korean commands and phrases so fast that “Menifee speaks Korean” became a running joke at Jeju Stud Farm.
