The first of three Group 1 winners produced from Argentine Broodmare of the Year Love for Sale, Off the Record was accounted the best Argentine miler of 1994 off his win in the Gran Premio Nacional de las Americas (ARG-G1) and two Group 2 wins over the “metric mile” (1600 meters). He was unable to transfer his form to the United States and does not appear to ever have been used at stud.
