While Primal Force clearly had some talent—she took her four career wins by a total of 30 lengths—soundness problems kept her from showing what she could do in stakes company. Nonetheless, she had shown enough to justify her purchase for the Adena Springs broodmare band, and she rewarded Frank Stronach's decision to keep her with two first-class sons: 1998 Breeders' Cup Classic (USA-G1) winner Awesome Again, and 2000 American champion 2-year-old male Macho Uno. Primal Force's only negative as a broodmare is that her daughters have not bred on as well as hoped to date.

Connections
Foaled in Kentucky, Primal Force was bred by Mr. and Mrs. Bertram R. Firestone and raced in the silks of Diana Firestone as was customary for fillies bred by the couple. Following her racing career, she was sold for US$95,000 as a broodmare prospect at the 1992 Keeneland January mixed sale. The buyer was Frank Stronach, whose Adena Springs operation is the breeder of record for all her foals. Primal Force died in 2011 due to complications of foaling.
