Five Grade 1 winners and three champions would be quite a respectable output for most stallions' careers and outstanding if compressed into a single crop of 60 to 100 foals. For a mare to achieve the same output during her breeding career is beyond outstanding, and when that output also includes two other Group or Graded stakes winners, one a successful sire, there is only one who fits the profile. Her name is Hasili, and she is one of the most remarkable matrons in the history of the Thoroughbred. Only time will tell if her long-range influence matches up to her immediate production, but she has already done more than enough to ensure herself a place in the record books.

As a producer
A Reine-de-Course as designated by pedigree analyst Ellen Parker, Hasili produced 10 named foals, of which eight started and seven won. Her important foals are as follow:
Connections
Foaled at Banstead Manor Stud, England, Hasili was bred and owned by Khalid Abdullah's Juddmonte Farms. She was trained by Henri-Alex Pantall. The jewel of Juddmonte's broodmare band throughout her producing career, she gave birth to her last foal, the Oasis Dream filly Responsible, in 2011. She was pensioned from breeding duty in 2012 and died at Banstead Manor Stud in March 2018.

- Dansili (1996, by Danehill) won three Group races including the 2000 Prix Muguet (FR-G2) and placed in six Grade/Group 1 events, including an unlucky third in the 2000 Breeders' Cup Mile (USA-G1). A champion sire in France, he has sired 151 stakes winners as of his death on December 22, 2021.
- Banks Hill (1998, by Danehill) was the European champion 3-year-old filly and American champion turf female of 2001. She was also the highweight English filly of 2001 over 7-9.5 furlongs. The following year, she was the highweight older female in France over 7-9.5 furlongs and the highweight older female in England over 9.5-11 furlongs. - Cacique (2001, by Danehill) won the 2005 Man o' War Stakes (USA-G1) and Manhattan Handicap (USA-G1). Unfortunately, he proved subfertile at stud. His seven stakes winners as of October 2020 are headed by Grade/Group 1 winners Mutual Trust, Dominant and Slumber.
- Champs Elysees (2003, by Danehill) was the Canadian Horse of the Year and champion turf male of 2009. He died in December 2018 but has sired at least 30 stakes winners as of October 2020 including Group 1 winners Billesdon Brook, Harlem, Trip to Paris, and Way to Paris.
- Deluxe (2007, by Storm Cat) won the 2011 Cardinal Handicap (USA-G3). Unfortunately, she died in December 2011.

Fun facts:
- Hasili is one of four mares to have produced multiple Breeders' Cup winners. The others are Primal Force, dam of 1998 Breeders' Cup Classic (USA-G1) winner Awesome Again and 2000 Breeders' Cup Juvenile (USA-G1) winner Macho Uno; Sweet Life, dam of 2004 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies (USA-G1) winner Sweet Catomine and 2009 Breeders' Cup Ladies' Classic (USA-G1) winner Life Is Sweet; and Win Approval, dam of Breeders' Cup Mile (USA-G1) winners Miesque's Approval (2006) and World Approval (2017).

- Hasili was originally slated to be sold at the Tattersalls December Sale after her juvenile season; fortunately for Juddmonte, the decision was made to withdraw her.
