A late-maturing filly who did not race at 2 and 3 due to physical issues, Queena made up for lost time when she finally did start running. She became a Grade 2 winner at 4 and at 5 was voted the champion of her division in North America after winning three Grade 1 events in spite of running out of the money in the Breeders’ Cup Distaff (USA-G1). She was a successful broodmare but has not seen her daughters breed on as well as those of her full sister, Chic Shirine.
