Although Chic Shirine became a Grade 1 winner, she was not really up to the standard of the best fillies of her crop as a race mare. As a broodmare, however, she was right up there with the best. Continuing the family of her dam Too Chic, Chic Shirine established the strongest branch of that family for breeder-owner Emory Alexander Hamilton.
