Pedigree notes

Willmar, in turn, is out of the winning Hawaii mare Miss Mauna Lisa, a half sister to 1966 Arlington-Washington Lassie Stakes winner Mira Femme (by Dumpty Humpty). Mira Femme is the dam of 1985 Grand Criterium (FR-G1) winner Femme Elite (by Northjet) and Grade 3 winner Batonnier (by His Majesty), the second dam of seven stakes winners including multiple French Group 3 winner Steinbeck, and the third dam of 1991 American champion turf male Tight Spot, 1993 Hollywood Futurity (USA-G1) winner Valiant Nature, and Grade 3 winners Classy Women and National Treasure.
Returning to Miss Mauna Lisa, she is also a half sister to stakes winner Body Bend (by Never Bend) and to Most Beautiful (by Donut King), dam of 1978 Sorority Stakes (USA-G1) winner Mongo Queen (by Mongo). Miss Mauna Lisa and her siblings are out of the winner Mlle. Somebody (by 1949 American champion 2-year-old male Oil Capitol), whose half sister Sweet Girl (by Heliopolis) is the dam of multiple stakes winner Kisco Kid (by Mr. Busher).
