Foaled in Kentucky, Baby Zip was bred and owned by J. Robert Harris, Jr. Following her racing career, Frank Stronach purchased Baby Zip privately for his Adena Springs breeding operation. Baby Zip was humanely destroyed due to complications of laminitis in April 2017.
