Capote (USA) x Harbor Springs (USA), by Vice Regent (CAN)
Family 6-a
Like his sire Capote, Boston Harbor was a champion at 2 and a disappointment at 3. He was a good sire of winners in the United States and Japan but did not pass on his own talent with any consistency and has fared better as a broodmare sire.

8 starts, 6 wins, 1 second, 0 thirds, US$1,934,605
1996:
Honors
Eclipse Award, American champion 2-year-old male (1996)

Highweighted at 126 pounds on the Experimental Free Handicap for American juvenile males of 1996, 3 pounds above second-rated Acceptable and Ordway.
As an individual
A handsome, muscular, powerfully built bay horse with an excellent shoulder, short cannons, and a long, sloping pelvis, Boston Harbor was game and determined in a drive. His racing career ended with a left front cannon fracture three weeks after he finished off the board in the 1997 Santa Catalina Stakes.
As a stallion
According to records kept by The Jockey Club, Boston Harbor sired 431 winners (62.8%) and 20 stakes winners (2.9%) from 686 named foals of racing age.

Notable progeny of daughters
My Sweet Addiction (USA), Off the Tracks (USA), Sealy Hill (CAN), She's a Bullet (USA), Shotgun Gulch (USA)
