Glowing Tribute was a good race mare, but it was as a broodmare that she truly excelled. She produced seven stakes winners, six of graded class, and was honored as the 1993 Kentucky Broodmare of the Year. Her branch of the great La Troienne family continues to produce at a high level and has been a good source of sires as well as broodmares.

Gaines purchased Glowing Tribute (then in foal to Summer Squall) at the 1992 Keeneland November mixed sale for US$460,000. She was barren in 2000-2002 and was afterward pensioned from breeding.
