As an individual

A handsome, elegant dark bay horse, Intérprete possessed an excellent shoulder, strong hindquarters and good muscling extending down into his forearms and gaskins. He had a low, smooth stride and preferred to control his races from the front end.

As a stallion

Intérprete ranked seven times among the top 10 Argentine general sires, peaking at fourth in 2004 and 2007. He also ranked at least six times among the top 10 Argentine broodmare sires including a runner-up finish in 2010. According to statistics kept by The Jockey Club, Intérprete sired 544 winners (47.5%) and 48 stakes winners (4.2%) from 1146 named foals; these records may be incomplete. Haras El Paraiso's website indicates that he sired 51 stakes winners (4.5%).
