That would be Skip Away...hall of fame trainer "Sonny" Hine bought him for his wife Carolyn, who is still active in racing today. TJ

'TJ' beat me to this one...of course he did.....as I was 'late out of the gate'...only seeing that the latest Friday Trivia Challenge had been posted, not logging in this afternoon, Saturday the 27th.

So glad to hear that Carolyn Hines is still actively involved in racing though Sonny is dead. She and Sonny and Skip Away were all good for racing and thoroughbred racing the better for their story/success. One of my favorite 'first hand' racing experiences was watching the mighty Skippy parade out onto the track in front of an expectant Hollywood Breeders Cup crowd for the Classic. He was proud, his neck bowed, showing all his muscularity like the Grecian and Roman steeds immortalized in bronze and marble but he wasn't tugging at the bit, tossing his head or dancing around...instead he paraded to the post at a measured pace, displaying his fitness and strength/physique with a very patrician air of knowing superiority to the crowd's approving roar. He never flinched from this noble attitude, even upon entering the gate...and he did not disappoint in the running of his race. Magnificent that day - a horse who clearly had presence and lived up to the expectations of all at the highest level of competition.

Sorry about that Joan:>)....Carolyn had one in today at GP, but was a late scratch. She doesn't have any top horses anymore, but she keeps one or two in Harry Benson's care at GP. TJ
