Only once in the history of the American general sire list have full brothers held both the first and second spots at the end of the year. Name the year and the brothers involved.

Sir Gallahad III and Bull Dog. Do not know what year but it has to be maybe 1940 or later.

Good guesses, all, but no. The closest Sir Gallahad III and Bull Dog got to pulling off the 1-2 finish was in 1940, when Sir Gallahad III was American champion sire and Bull Dog was third. In 1943, Bull Dog was champion sire but Sir Gallahad III was only ninth. Keep trying! The answer can be found in the horse profiles in the reference library.
