Count Fleet, weighted at 132 lbs for the Experimental Free Handicap .When bred to the mare Hugabit her foals of 1946,1948, and 1949 combined starts were 312.

Count Fleet was indeed the all-time highweight on the Experimental. Native Dancer was assigned 2 lbs less at 130 in his year, but he had a 7-pound margin of superiority over Tahitian King and Laffango. No 2-year-old colt during the history of the Experimental was ever assessed with a greater margin of superiority over his peers. Leave a Reply. |
