Even after his death, this champion sire could not be ignored; he had two posthumous champions in the same year, and one became an important sire in his own right whose branch of the line still continues. Who was this stallion, and who were the runners who added their own postscripts to his legacy?

Nasrullah was the sire and Never Bend and Nasram were the two champions. The Never Bend line carries on through descendants of Mill Reef.

Nasrullah and Never Bend are correct, but not Nasram, who was never accorded a championship title that I know of. Perhaps I need to clarify that Nasrullah's posthumous champions were not necessarily from the same crop although they did earn their titles in the same year.

Sorry, I misread it. The other part of the answer would be Jaipur who was the champion 3 year-old of 1962.
