Fun facts
- Get Lucky's pasture buddy at Nuckols Farm was 1997 Apple Blossom Handicap (USA-G1) winner Halo America. The two mares were seldom seen more than five feet apart when at pasture. In the mare barn, they were housed across the aisle from one another rather than side by side because they became anxious when they could not see each other.
